After several leaks and hints, Oppo has finally unveiled the two handsets from Reno 5 5 series, named as Reno 5 5G and Reno 5 Pro 5G. Both these handsets have the same camera and battery specifications but differ widely in terms of display and chipset. They’re announced in China, with no update on global availability yet. Here’s more about it;
Oppo Reno 5 5G and Reno 5 Pro 5G Specifications
Wiping out the rumours of two more handsets in the just-launched series, Oppo has announced only the two variants which it officially teased earlier. The standard of these two, Reno 5 5G comes with a 6.43″ FHD+ OLED display with 90Hz screen refresh rate. With nearly 92% screen-to-body ratio, it comes with ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out-of-the-box.
Running on Snapdragon 765G processor, it has Adreno 620 GPU and has no SD card slot for expanding storage. Yet it has plenty of it with upto 12GB of RAM and upto 256GB of onboard storage. Regarding cameras, it has a quad-rear setup led by a 64-megapixel (f/1.7) as the primary sensor, an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) as ultra-wide angle sensor and a pair of 2-megapixel (f/2.4) lens as macro and depth sensors.

Talking about the Pro edition, the all-new Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G sports a 6.55″ FHD+ OLED display with the same 90Hz refresh rate and screen-to-body ratio.
