Samsung has got yet another budget smartphone fo India. Named as Galaxy M01s, it’s the Galaxy M01 handset with most of the features aligned with each other, and varies just in processor and front camera. The all-new Galaxy M01s is still a favorable piece, but may not be remembered well as other competitors in the same space. Here’s why?

Samsung Galaxy M01s Specifications
Samsung Galaxy M01s sports a 6.2″ HD+ display with Infinity-V notch design and 720 × 1280p resolution. Under the hood, it’s having a MediaTek’s Helio P22 SoC, which comes with PowerVR GPU probably. This is a major change made with Galaxy M01s when compared to Galaxy M01, as it runs on Snapdragon’s 439 SoC.

This handset has only storage variant as 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage, which can be expanded via MicroSD slot up to 512GB. It posses dual rear cameras as a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel lens with f/2.4 lens as a depth sensor. Upfront, there’s an 8-megapixel lens housed the notch. Whereas the Galaxy M01 has a 5-megapixel lens.
Finally, it’s powered by a decent 4000mAh battery but still charges through a USB 2.0 port. It has connectivities like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and sensors like accelerometer and proximity. It also has Dolby Atmos for rich sound experience and Samsung’s Health app for basic health monitoring.
Samsung Galaxy M01s Pricing and Availability
Samsung Galaxy M01s is priced at Rs. 9,999 (~$134) for its sole variant of 3GB + 32GB variant. With light Blue and Grey colors, this new handset will be available through Samsung online and offline store and also through Amazon India and other online retailers soon.
