It’s been a while since Samsung is quite in terms of product launch. But, now the company has come up with a new addition for their Galaxy A-series smartphone lineups. This time Samsung has come up with the new Samsung Galaxy A31 smartphone. Samsung has been doing quite a good job in terms of bringing out the best feature-packed phone for a lower price.

Samsung Galaxy A31 – Specifications and Features
Samsung Galaxy A31 comes with a “Glasstic back (the body made by the mixture of both glass and plastic)”. Perhaps this makes the phone to be shinny in looks and lighter in weight. The phone is quite similar to the previously launched Samsung Galaxy A51 but is different in terms of internal specs and features. So, here are the complete specifications and features for Samsung Galaxy A31.
Display
On the front, you get to see a huge 6.4-inches Full HD+ Super AMOLED Display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and peak resolution of 2400X1080. Also, you get to see classic U-shaped notch on the top and small chin in the bottom which won’t be a price braking aspect. In short, we can say that there are no such compromises made by Samsung in terms of display for the smartphone.
Processor and RAM
Inside, the phone is powered by latest MediaTek Helio P65 Chipset which is quite comparable to “Snapdragon’s older 675 Chipset” Although, the chipset is quite less sufficient as compared to its completion and price but with a coupled LPDDR4X RAM of 6GB and 128GB of internal storage with the support of expandable memory up to 512GB make the phone to be more attractive.
Software
Samsung phone are known for its “OneUI Skin”. So, yes, even Samsung Galaxy A31 comes with OneUI on top of Android 10 out of the box.
Camera
In the camera section also Samsung has done a great job. Here we get a “Quad Camera Configuration” on the rear and single-camera configuration on the front.
On the rear we get a 48MP (f/2.0) main sensor supported by an 8MP (f/2.2) Ultrawide Sensor with a FOV (Field of View) of 123-degrees then comes a 5MP (f/2.4 ) Depth Sensor and at last we get a 5MP (f/2.4) Macro camera as well.
Battery and Charging
Samsung has done a good job but also not so good job as well. Although, the phone will get the juice by the huge 5000mAh battery which is more than enough for you to last for a long time but with lower 15W fast charging through USB Type-C Port it seems to be way more behind from its completion.
Other Features
One of the main features which we get to see in Galaxy A31 is 3.5mm Headphone jack, which is getting rare these days. With that, other features like NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi802.11ac, and Hybrid Dual-Sim Tray are also supported in this phone.
Colors
Samsung Galaxy A31 is available in three different colors variants which are:
- Prism Crush White
- Prism Crush Red
- Prism Crush Blue
- Prism Crush Black
Price
Getting to the most important aspect here. Although, the phone comes with the majority of the features that you see in flagship phones these days but still for the processor, the price seems to be overpriced.
As of now, Samsung has unveiled only one variant which is the 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which is roughly priced $291.
