Redmi has today launched its first-ever smart band in India, after launching it in China earlier this year. Named as Redmi Smart Band, it comes with tens of personalized watch faces, USB type plug for charging, water-resistance and various types of health trackers. Here’s everything about it;
Redmi Smart Band Specifications
After Xiaomi launching four smart bands in India, it’s spin-off brand, Redmi has launched its first-ever wearable in India. The all-new Redmi Smart Band has a 1.05″ LCD panel with AMOLED display. It’s coloured and has an optical sensor for 24 hours of heart-rate monitoring. With five professional sports modes, it can track your sleep movements and check the quality of sleep.
The Redmi Smart Band is 5ATM rated for being water-resistant, which means it can resist water upto 10 minutes in under 50 meters depth, thus making it a fine wearable while swimming or showering.
It comes with a unique raise-to-awake feature, where it can be activated by just raising your wrist. This eliminates the need for swiping or touching any buttons to activate the screen.
It has about 50 personalized watch faces that a user can set, and lasts up to 14 days with a single charge. Gladly, it comes with a general USB type port for charging, thus not needing a special type cable to get charged, unlike Mi bands. It can be connected to both Android and iOS devices to receive notifications.
Redmi Smart Band Pricing and Availability
The Redmi Smart Band comes in four colors of Black, Green, Orange, and Blue, and is priced at Rs. 1,599 for all variants. It was initially launched in China in April this year for a price tag of ¥99, which converts to Rs. 1,100. This smart band will go sale in India starting September 9 via Mi Home stores, Mi.com, Amazon and offline retailers.
