The device has two RAM versions – 6GB and 8GB. The internal storage is tricky in this case as such. There are two variants 128 GB and 256GB. The 6GB/128GB uses UFS3.0 storage whereas the other variants i.e 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB sports UFS 3.1 storage unit. Therefore the highest variant is the fastest among all three.
The camera was always a good side of the K series. The setup on the rear is the quad-camera setup. The configuration goes as one 64-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel telephoto-macro lens, a 13-megapixel ultrawide snapper and one last 2-megapixel depth sensor camera.
The K30 Pro is getting back on the pop-up culture, as the front camera is a 20-megapixel Motorized camera that pop-ups swiftly. The camera is well built and the company advertises it to be rough and tough enough.
The rear camera supports a variety of recording options, starting from 4320p at 24/30fps 2160p at30/60fps, 1080p at 30/60/120/240fps, 1080p at 960fps. The expected 8K support is just the cherry on the cake for the best performer.
The battery is also descent in the device. The battery pack is a massive Li-Po 4700 mAh. The device also supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4+ with a 33W charging capability. The speed is expected to be 0-100% in roughly 64 mins.
The expected price of the device is $425 for 6GB variant and a rough estimates amount of $565 for 8GB/256GB.
The other features of the device are 5G support and the impressive rear panel, which looks very premium and new. The drawback is somehow the IP rating, which could have been better. The other cons are screen to body ratio which could have been a bit better. The brand is working on a pop-up camera and still giving a less than 90% screen to body ratio.
