Mediatek Helio G95

MediaTek has unveiled one more chipset named as Helio G95 which will power the next-generation mid-ranger 4G smartphones. The newly launched chipset is touted as the “most powerful gaming-focused smartphone processor”.

This gaming-focused chipset is an octa-core SoC that features Two ARM Cortex-A76 CPUs clocking at 2.05GHz and six Cortex-A55 low-power CPUs. The chipset is paired with an ARM Mali-G76 MC4 GPU that clocks at 900MHz and comes with an enhanced MediaTek HyperEngine gaming technology.

The chipset is the successor to Helio G90T and provides a 5 per cent boost in CPU performance and 8 per cent boost in the GPU performance and improved graphics. Additionally, it supports quad-camera setup with maximum of up to 64MP, 4K video recording at 30fps, and an in-built AI Processing Unit (APU).

It also supports 90Hz display refresh rate and offers dual wake-up word support and enables HDR10 standard display, which can be further enhanced to HDR10+ quality in real-time.

To make the gaming experience lag-free, the Helio G95 has housed Wi-Fi and LTE concurrency to provide smooth gaming experience.

Realme 7 is expected to be the first phone to be powered by this newly launched chipset from MediaTek. The Realme 7 is slated to be unveiled on September3 in India through an online event.
