Vivo, one of the many Chinese OEMs with aggressive price strategy, has released yet another mid-range smartphone today. The new handset named as Vivo Y12s, has a fair display and cameras, a bigger battery, and a single storage variant. This is already available in Vietnam, and now up in Hong Kong. Vivo Y12s specifications
Adding more into its mid-range segment, Vivo’s new Y12s has a 6.5″ HD+ display with 720 x 1600p resolution. With 20:9 aspect ratio, it has MediaTek’s Helio P35 SoC, which is a standard chip offering the best performance in mid-range segment phones. With 3GB RAM, it has 32GB of onboard storage with microSD card slot for expanding it further.
Coming to imaging, this handset has a dual rear setup of 13-megapixel (f/1.8) as the primary camera and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) as the secondary lens. Upfront, there’s a single 8-megapixel lens in the dewdrop notch. Finally, it has adequate 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging and comes with all the required connectivities like WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and an audio jack. With the fingerprint sensor mounted at the rear, it comes with FunTouch OS 11 based on Android 10 out-of-the-box.
Vivo Y12s Pricing and Availability
The new Vivo Y12s comes in Phantom Black and Glacier Blue color variants and is priced at HK$1,098 for the sole 3GB + 32GB variant.
