With no much hype, Vivo has introduced a new Vivo V20 2021 edition in India for $339. This refreshed variant is set to replace the current Vivo V20 (2020) handset, which was launched just a couple of months back. Vivo V20 2021 shares the same specifications as its older counterpart, except the chipset which is of Snapdragon 730G.

While many OEMs introduce refreshed variants of their current handsets every year or so, Vivo did it the same year, or same quarter specifically. The Chinese OEM has silently introduced Vivo V20 2021 handset in the Indian market, intending to replacing the current Vivo V20 2020 edition that was launched in October this year.

The revamped handset is varied only by the chipset, with everything else remaining the same. It sports a 6.44″ FHD+ AMOLED display with 1080 × 2400p resolution and a teardrop notch style. With Snapdragon 730G chipset, it comes Adreno 618 GPU and 8GB of RAM. With 128GB of onboard storage, it has a microSD card option for expanding storage.

In imaging, it has a triple-rear setup lead by a 64-megapixel (f/1.89) primary sensor, followed by an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) lens as wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) lens as a depth sensor. Upfront, there’s a single 44-megapixel which is capable of shooting 4K videos at 60 fps.

Running on Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11, it supports in-display fingerprint sensor and has connectivities like Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, WiFi, 4G and an audio jack. Finally, it has a 4000mAh battery with 33W FlashCharge fast charging support.

Pricing and Availability

Vivo V20 2021 edition comes in two colors of Sunset Melody and Midnight Jazz and is listed on Amazon India’s website for buying right away. It’s priced $339 (Rs.24,990) for the sole 8GB + 128GB variant.
