Samsung may go unpredictable in naming their flagships. The South Korean tech giant has tricked users earlier by jumping nine spots to name their next phone to Galaxy S10 to Galaxy S20. And later launched an Ultra version of that as Galaxy S20 Ultra. And now, it’s preparing for the next flagship – Galaxy S21 series (or Galaxy S30?).

Presuming it as Galaxy S21, a new leak from 3C website hinted the coming of two S21 handsets, since there are two batteries got certified already. Naming as Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus, the two handsets are listed in China Compulsory Certification (3C Certification) for product quality standardization. This listing revealed the battery component numbers to be EB-BG991ABY for Galaxy S21 and EB-BG996ABY for Galaxy S21 Plus.

Further details about these say the model Galaxy S21 to come with a battery capacity of 3880mAh, which is slightly lower than current Galaxy S20’s, which is at 4000mAh. On the other hand, the Galaxy S21 Plus’s battery capacity is written to be of 4660mAh, making a slight bump over its current counterpart, Galaxy S20 Plus with 4500mAh capacity.

Further, the maker of these batteries are named as a Chinese company called Ningde Amperex Technology Limited. Other leaks from past tell that Galaxy S21 series may come with a stylus (S Pen), which was previously allotted only to Galaxy Note series. Also, the S21 Plus handset to support a 60W battery charging, which is a bump from current 45W charging. These leaks along with both handsets with 3D Sonic Max fingerprint sensor are yet to be confirmed.
