Nokia to launch several phones in H1 2021

As per the latest leaks, Nokia is planning to launch a bunch of new smartphones this year, including the budget 5G ones. Names include Nokia 1.4, 5.5, 6.3, 6.4, 7.3, 7.4, and 8.4. While there’s no specific schedule for all these launches, they arranged monthly, starting with the Nokia 1.4 in February onwards.

Nokia is fighting hard to retain its lost power in the market, as it still remembered for its tough phones in the early days and has a loyal fan base. Now, the HMD Global owned company is gearing up to launch new smartphones ranging from budget to premium ones, as per Nokiapoweruser. These include;

Nokia 1.4


A budget-friendly handset under 100 euros, Nokia 1.4 is expected to come with a 6.5″ HD display, a decent 4000mAh battery, 1GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage, and dual SIM support (4G + 2G). It comes with a quad-core processor having 1.3GHz as clock speed, and will even have a fingerprint sensor in this tight budget.

Highlights include a rear dual camera of 8-megapixel and a 2-megapixel, and a 5-megapixel as front camera. Also, it will ship with Android 10 out-of-the-box. This will be the first phone coming from the company, probably by next month.

Nokia 6.3 and Nokia 6.4


Since belonging to the same series, these two smartphones may share most of the specifications same but vary in majors like the rear cameras and battery. As touted earlier, these could be the phones codenamed Nokia Quicksilver and have Snapdragon 480 chipset, that supports 5G. Further, they may have 48-megapixel primary sensors at the rear.

Nokia 7.3 and Nokia 7.4


These two will support 5G connectivity and have quad-rear cameras led by a 64-megapixel lens, or a 48-megapixel lens as Nokia 6.3/6.4. Since greater than them, these two handsets may run on Snapdragon 690 chipset and have a 24-megapixel lens at the front. With a 6.3″ FHD+ display and 90Hz refresh rate, these could be placed at a premium range.
