Meizu Smartwatch

Meizu, the strong contender on its home soil and an average player in the overseas markets, is now preparing to launch its next flagship, Meizu 18 series. While the hype about smartphones is real, the company is also bringing a smartwatch alongside, that has the design looking like Apple Watch. Here’s more about it;

Meizu smartwatch certified

The new smartwatch was spotted on China National Intellectual Property Office (CNIPO) site, where it bears the model name M007W, and has images linked to it! Glad that we’re at least able to see the official images even though no other specifications were revealed.

From the shared images, it’s seen the smartwatch is having a square-shaped head with curved edges. It’s having just one physical button on the right side, and two speaker grills on the left. These, along with the band buckle, resembles Apple Watch. While it’s shown in just Blue and Black colors, we expect it to come in make variants since launching with a flagship.

Talking about the phone, Meizu’s upcoming flagship series is already certificated in the Chinese CCC site sporting Snapdragon 888 SoC. This was earlier confirmed by the company too and also touted to ditch Samsung OLED panels this time to take in the native BOE’s hardware. Also, since it’s a flagship, we expect this series to have a curve-edged display and a higher screen refresh rate.

Further leaks tell the two phones in 18 series to support 40W and 30W fast charging support. All these will be confirmed when this series is launched, probably before the end of Q1, 2021.
