Huawei Mate 30E Pro

After launching its latest flagship series, Mate 40 in Europe last month, Huawei has now unveiled this in the Chinese market along with a new handset named Mate 30E Pro. While the Mate 40 series remains the same for China, the new handset, Mate 30E Pro has some amazing specs and set alongside the latest flagships. Here’s everything about it;

Huawei Mate 30E Pro Specifications

Huawei’s new Mate 30E Pro sports a 6.53″ OLED display with 1176 × 2400p resolution. With an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, it has a waterfall display edge design on two sides and supports HDR10. It runs on Android 10 based EMUI 11 and misses Google Play Services. It has 8GB RAM and upto 256GB of UFS 3.0 onboard storage.

In the core, it has the HiSilicon Kirin 990E chipset, which comes with Mali-G76 MP14 GPU and has clocking speeds of up to 2.86GHz. This handset has some good rear cameras, spearheaded by a 40-megapixel (f/1.6) lens as the primary sensor, another 40-megapixel (f/1.8) as an ultra-wide lens, and an 8-megapixel (f/2.4) as a telephoto lens. This package support depth sensing, TOF, 3x optical zoom, and 4K recording.

Upfront, there’s a single 32-megapixel (f/2.0) lens with TOF support. With an in-display fingerprint sensor and all necessary connectivities, it has a 4500mAh battery with 40W fast charging support and a 27W wireless charging support.

Pricing and Availability

The Mate 30E Pro comes in Vegan Leather Orange and Vegan Leather Forest Green color options and is priced at CNY 5,299 ($ ~792) for the 8GB + 128GB variant and CNY 5,799 ($~868) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. It’s up for pre-orders in China already.
