Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro launched with Dimensity 800 5G Chipset

Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro

Despite taking the hardest hit from US regulations, Huawei doesn’t seem to have shivered much. The Chinese behemoth is launching phones regularly and is quite reasonable. The latest offering from Huawei is the Enjoy 20 Pro, a simple mid-ranger with 5G and without Google apps.

This handset is more of Enjoy Z 5G, that was launched in China last month for the offline market, and this will be sold through online platforms and in two storage and three colour variants. Though it’s fairly priced for its specifications, the fact that it doesn’t come with Google services is still daunting. Yet, there’s a reason to appreciate. Here’s why?

Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro Specifications

Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro comes with a 6.5-inches FHD+ display and in 1080 × 2400 resolution. The screen is crafted in dewdrop style notch and has a 90Hz screen refresh rate. This handset will be running on Huawei’s bloatware EMUI 10.1, over Android 10 OS. Further, the processing works is carried out by MediaTek’s high-end SoC, the Dimensity 800. It’s an octa-core processor with Mali-G57MP4 GPU.

It comes in two memory variants as either 6GB or 8GB, along with the same onboard storage as 128GB for both. This can be further expanded to 256GB via external slot, which is shared with the second SIM slot. Coming to imaging, it has a triple rear setup like one 48-megapixel (f/1.8) as the primary sensor, an 8-megapixel (f/2.4) ultra-wide angular lens, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) as a macro lens.

Upfront, there’s a single 16-megapixel (f/2.0) camera stuffed into dewdrop notch. With fingerprint sensor mounted at the side, it’s having 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi, GPS, USB 2.0 Type-C etc.

Finally, it’s powered by a decent 4000mAh battery with 22.5 fast charging support. Mentioning again, this phone supports 5G connectivity as having Dimensity 800 chip but lacks Google’s native apps since it’s a dispute with the US. Yet, it replaced it with Huawei’s Mobile Services.
