Vivo X50e with Snapdragon 765, 33W fast charging launched

Vivo has just launched a new mid-ranger from its X50-series, named as Vivo X50e. This is the cheapest 5G handset from the X50-series and comes with Snapdragon’s 765G chipset, quad rear cameras, and a 33W fast charging. This is now launched in Taiwan with no update on the global update. Here’s everything about it;

Vivo X50e 5G Specifications

The all-new Vivo X50e 5G has a 6.44″ FHD+ AMOLED display with 1080 × 2340p resolution. It has a water-drop notch and supports in-display fingerprint sensor. The panel is said to be having 103% of the NTSC color space, and come in 20:9 aspect ratio. In the software part, it runs on Android 10 based Funtouch 10 bloatware.

Under the hood, it has Snapdragon’s 765G SoC, which is a 7nm processor having a Kyro Prime core clocking at 2.4GHz at maximum speed. With Adreno 620 GPU, it has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage with an option for expanding via microSD slot.

Regarding cameras, it has a diamond-shaped module at rear with equips four cameras and the flashlight in total. The rear cameras include a 48-megapixel (f/1.8) lens as the primary sensor, a 13-megapixel (f/2.5) sensor as a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens with 120° coverage and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) lens for macro shots.

Upfront, there’s a single 32-megapixel (f/2.0) lens stuffed into the notch. While the front camera is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps, the rear setup can record 4K videos at 30fps. It has all the connectivities like Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB Type-C port, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi and a 3.5mm audio jack. Finally, isn’t powered by a 4350mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Vivo X50e Price and Availability


The sole 8GB + 128GB variant is offered in either Black or Blue colors, with a price tag of NT$ 13,990 (~$483). It’s currently launched in Taiwan with sales commencing from October 1st onwards, and there are no details about its global availability.
