Realme has announced a new handset in its C-series – the Realme C15. The phone was launched in Indonesia and seemed slightly overpriced comparing the previous Realme track record. Yet, it’s good on paper and seems to have the fine scope in its segment. Let’s check what it has got;
Quick Navigation
Realme C15 Specifications
The new Realme C15 sports a basic LCD with 720 × 1600p resolution and drop-notch display design. Though it is mediocre in this aspect, it’s got an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio and 450 nits of peak brightness. It runs on Android 10 based on Realme UI 1.0. This one of the first handsets using the Realme’s native UI.
The previous Realme phones have used Oppo’s ColorOS. The system is processed by the MediaTek’s Helio G35 SoC, which is an octa-core processor based on the 12nm process and running all eight cortex-A53 cores at 2.3 GHz speed. Further, it comes with PowerVR GE8320 GPU for basic gaming.
The phone comes in two storage options as in 3GB + 32GB and 4GB +64GB variants. But the company has also announced a 128GB variant through its Facebook page, but it’s not listed in the website yet. Apart from the LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 versioned onboard storage, it has a MicroSD slot for expanding storage.

In the imaging section, it has quad-rear cameras as, a 13-megapixel (f/2.2) lens as the primary sensor, followed by an 8-megapixel (f/2.25) as an ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) lens for black-and-white shots and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) lens, probably for depth sensing. Upfront, there’s an 8-megapixel (f/2.0) selfie camera.
With all the required connectivities as Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi, GPS and micro-USB, it has a fingerprint sensor mounted side and comes with a massive 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. This long battery life balances all the average features it has and tells that it’s for basic uses with long-living span.
