Smartphone companies do this all the time. Instead of equipping their upcoming handsets with new innovative features, they mostly revamp an old phone with increased capabilities. And here’s one, Oppo Find X2 Lite.
While this was claimed to be a new launch, it highly resembles the Oppo’s Reno3 Youth launched earlier this month which costs CNY 2,999 (approx. $424) in China. Yet, this is stunning enough to be looked at. Here we explain why?
Oppo Find X2 Lite Specifications
The Find X2 Lite is clearly a stripped version of its counterpart, Find X2. It has a 6.4″ OLED FHD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2400p resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 percent. It runs on Oppo’s bloatware ColorOS 7 over Android 10 as base, and has a single storage variant as 8GB/128GB with no card slots for expanding storage.
It’s got a quad-rear camera setup of 48-megapixel (f/1.7) as primary sensor, an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) monochromatic shooter and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) retro portrait style lens. Upfront, there’s a 32-megapixel (f/2.0) lens stuffed info dewdrop lens.
The system duties will be performed by Snapdragon’s 765G SoC, which is a 7nm processor and joins Andreno 620 GPU for fair handling of hardcore games. It features 8GB LDDR4X RAM for boosted performance.
It has got required connectivity features like Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, audio jack, USB 2.0 and even an NFC. The device also supports 5G connectivity and weighs 180 grams. At last, it’s powered by a 4025mAh battery that supports VOOC 4.0 fast charging, which a 30W juicer for pumping 50% of battery under just 20 minutes.

Oppo Find X2 Lite Price and Availability
As of now, it is listed only on Portugal website MediaMarkt. The listing has two color variants – Pearl White and Moonlight Black.
The single variant is priced for €499 (approx. $542), however, it’s not yet available for purchasing or pre-ordering. Well, you can register and set a reminder when it’s available. It’s unclear when Oppo Find X2 Lite will make its way into other markets.

After all, the phone seemed good on paper, but should be trailed to make an ultimate decision. Many phones which have dumped high-end specs into their builds didn’t stand strong when tested, thus, better to wait for a hands-on review.
