Honor has unveiled two new tablets for China, both placed as mid-rangers. Named as ViewPad 6 and ViewPad X6, these two slates come with fair displays, average battery, mediocre cameras and with a stylus. Moreover, specifications define these tablets are aimed at kids and readers, thus placed alongside Samsung’s and Lenovo’s entry-level tablet space. Let’s check what they have got;

Honor ViewPad 6 Specifications
The Honor ViewPad 6 has a 10.1″ LCD display with 1200×1920 resolution and 80.6% screen-to-body ratio. It runs on Magic UI 3.1 over Android 10 as the base. Under the hood, it’s got a HiSilicon Kirin 710A chip, which is an octa-core processor. It’s got a single rear and front cameras 5-megapixel and 2-megapixel respectively.
At lest, this slate is powered by a 5100mAh battery, chargeable via USB Type-C. It has all required connectivities like Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi and sensors like Ambient, Glonass, Gravity and even fingerprint scanner. It’s available in Mint Green and Starry Sky Gray color variants and touted as ViewPad in India.
Honor ViewPad X6 Specifications
The next slate is ViewPad X6, which has a 9.7″ LCD with 800 × 1280p resolution and a 75% screen-to-body ratio. It’s run on the same processor and software as its counterpart, ViewPad 6. In imaging, it’s got the same lenses as ViewPad 6, which Honor says they’re capable of 1080p video recording (rear) and HD video calling (front).

Finally, it’s got the same battery as 5100mAh capacity and general connectivities. This tablet comes in Mint Green colour variant. To note, both these tablets come with a dedicated stylus.
Pricing and Availability
Both Honor ViewPad 6 and ViewPad X6 has several storage and connectivity variants. Thus, priced accordingly. Here’s all;
The Honor ViewPa 6 Wi-Fi-only variants are priced as below:
- 3GB + 32GB for ¥1,299
- 4GB + 64GB for ¥1,399
- 4GB + 128GB for ¥1,699
Whereas the LTE variant of the same model costs;
- 4GB + 64GB for ¥1,599
- 4GB + 128GB for ¥1,899.
On the other hand, the Honor ViewPa X6 Wi-Fi-only variants are priced as;
- 3GB + 32GB for ¥1,099
- 4GB + 64GB for ¥1,199.
Whereas the LTE variant of ViewPa X6 costs ¥1,199 for the sole 3GB + 32GB variant. All these variants of both models are open for pre-booking in China, and there’s no word for global availability yet.
