Vivo has launched a new mid-ranger in China – Vivo Y51s. This new handset is more like Vivo’s Y70s, which was launched earlier this year. Vivo Y51s sports a triple rear camera, decent battery, and a fine processor with 5G support. Let’s check out all;
Vivo Y51s Specifications
The all-new Vivo Y51s has a 6.53″ FHD+ display with 1080 × 2340p resolution. It’s got a punch-hole design with 90.72% screen-to-body ratio and 19.9:9 aspect ratio. This handset is powered by Exynos 880 SoC, which is an octa-core processor made by Samsung and comes with Mali-G76 MP5 GPU.
There’s only single storage variant of this handset, as with 6GB of LPPDR4x RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Sadly, it has no microSD slot to expand the storage. In imaging, it has a triple rear setup as 48-megapixel (f/1.79) as the primary sensor, followed by two 2-megapixel (f/2.4) lens as macro and depth sensors. Upfront, there’s a single 8-megapixel (f/2.05) lens in the punch-hole cut.
These cameras are capable of night view, portrait, panorama, dynamic photo, slow motion, time-lapse, and others. It’s got a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Finally, it has all the required connectivities like 5G, VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, audio jack and a USB port. It has the fingerprint sensor given at side, and also be unlocked with facial recognition.
Price and Availability
The Vivo Y51s is available in Snow Feather White, Secret Realm Black, and Bihailan Blue color options. The only variant, 6GB + 128GB is priced at ¥1,798 (~$256) and will go on sale in China from July 29th onwards. The Vivo China website has already started taking reservations for this handset.
