Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy S11 on February 11, 2020. A video posted by Twitter user Max Weinbach of XDA Developer shows the promotional video of the device which is believed to be accidentally uploaded by Samsung’s official press channel.
However, Samsung has not officially announced the launch date of Galaxy S11 yet. The South Korea based company is also expected to launch its foldable device, said to be Galaxy Fold 2, alongside Galaxy S11. The Fold 2 is speculated to have the clamshell design same as Motorola Razr which is also set to be launch in 2020.
The 15-sec video clearly reveals the date – 02.11.20 – which hints as the date of the launch event. It also confirms that Samsung has also planned to live stream the event on its official website.
Nevertheless, the video doesn’t reveal anything about the device and its specifications. However, earlier leaks suggest that Galaxy S11 is said to have 108 Megapixel primary camera with the price tag of $1,030.
The leak also suggests that Samsung may consider dropping the ‘Galaxy S11’ name to adopt the new name viz. Galaxy S20. This mark the genesis of new series for Galaxy in the upcoming year.
Earlier, on November 24, 2019, Androidical had posted the renders of Galaxy S11 with the rumored release date.
