Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco gained instant success with the launch of Poco F1 and has been continuing with the same pace since then. Now, as per few listings and certification websites, the company may launch its next handset – Poco X3 Pro soon. Though there were fewer leaks about it, we expect more to roll out soon.
Poco X3 Pro latest rumors
Since the Poco shared a year-long progress video of 2020, it shared a glimpse of something like F2, hinting to the community about an upgrade to the current F2 Pro. While there’s no new news regarding that yet, we now see a confirmed handset coming as Poco X3 Pro.
As detailed by XDA developers, this upcoming phone bears a model name M2102J20SG, passed several certifications, and listed on various regulatory websites including the FCC. While we don’t know it was Poco X3 Pro, XDA has cross-checked its model number with an IMEI database, which revealed its name to be POCO X3 Pro.
Earlier, this handset was codenamed as “Vayu” and “Bhima” (both referring to the same phone) and may sport Qualcomm’s sm8150 SoC, which is the Snapdragon 855 SoC. Further, it may have a quad-rear setup led by a 48-megapixel primary sensor, followed by an ultra-wide lens, macro and depth sensors.
Though it was touted to have a Snapdragon 855 SoC, it may also show up with an SD 860 one, which belongs to the same family and have minor improvements over the former chip. Others include having a big battery with fast charging support and 5G connectivity are expected to a phone at the upper mid-range segment.
