Oppo launched its all-new series of their near to flagship Reno series. The new device is titled Oppo Reno 3 pro. It is expected to be rolled by March 6. Oppo had already launched the Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro on December 26, 2019 in China.
The Reno 3 Pro supports 5G connectivity. However, the company launched the non-5G variant in India.
Overview:
The device is again advertised to possess an amazing camera and good performance. It seemed to be quite balanced between Oppo’s camera features and price point.
The device is termed as the world’s first smartphone with a 44mega-pixel dual punch-hole selfie camera.

Design:
The all-new Oppo Reno 3 pro is solidly built on a polycarbonate frame and a good polycarbonate back. The front body is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The build is not that good at the price point though.

Display:
The device comes with a 6.4″ Super AMOLED screen. The resolution goes to 1080 x 2400 pixels. The aspect ratio is kept at 20:9. The display has 16M colors and gives a diversified color range. The display is a really good display unit with roughly 86% screen to bezels ratio.
Performance:
The phone is powered by Mediatek Helio P95 (12 nm based processor). The SoC can work good depending on how better it syncs with the UI. The configuration of the Soc varies as; 2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55. The power to efficiency is well balanced in SoC. However, the company tried to switch to PowerVR GM9446 as GPU this time.
Memory Unit:
The device comes in two different variants. 8GB RAM with 128GB internal memory or 8GB RAM clubbed with 256 internal memory. Storage can be further increased using mircoSD card slot.

Camera Unit:
The device sports a quad-camera setup on the rear panel. There is 64MPUltra-clear Main Camera ( f/1.7 ), then it has 13 MP ( f/2.4 ) Telephoto Lens, it is accompanied by 8MP, f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2 MP camera for depth sensing. The rear camera records video at 2160p@30fps and 1080p@30fps.
The front display sports a dual-camera setup. The main camera is a 44mega-pixel with f/2.4 aperture., 26mm wide-angle camera. The secondary camera is a 2MP camera for depth sensing.
Battery:
The device is powered by a Li-Po 4025 mAh battery. The fast charger is provided in the box. It is a VOCC 4.0 Fast charger, rated 30W.
Price:
The device is available in two configurations. While both the variant has 8GB RAM, one can between 128 GB and 256 GB internal memory. The price tag for 8GB/128GB version is Rs. 29,990 ($410), while the 8GB/256GB version is Rs. 32,990 ($451).
Release date:
Oppo Reno 3 is scheduled to release on March 6, 2020 in India. The device is available to pre-order on the Indian website of Amazon.
