Lately, Xiaomi revealed spinning-off the Pocophone as an independent brand, resurrecting the Pocophone brand after stagnant development. The buzz was not yet over and Pocophone just announced the Poco F2 disguised in a teaser video which shows “execute_TAKEOVER_2.0?” in the concluding frames of the video which clearly suggests that Poco F2 could soon be officially announced.
Earlier, a leak revealed the patent application of the POCO F2 brand filed by the company in Beijing, China.
Just after posting the teaser video, POCO India tweeted another post containing a letter-format image and concluded the same with a message ‘Prepare yourself for POCO: Season 2’ which clearly suggests that Poco F2 is on its way and we could soon see it getting officially launched.
To recall, Xiaomi had announced Poco F1 on August 22, 2018 in India as a sub-brand. It was the cheapest and the most competitive phone offering the Snapdragon 845 chipset at a starting price of ~$300.
