Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo has today launched a new handset named iQoo Z1x. This smartphone is so wondering in terms of its price to specifications ratio. It’s offering 5G, 5000mAh battery, Wi-Fi 6 and 120Hz display, etc for just $230. While the company haven’t disclosed the global availability yet, it’s having a true potentiality disrupt the mid-range segment with its aggressive pricing.

Taking more about its features, iQoo’s Z1x could be called as a stripped-down version of previous iQoo Z1 handset but placed at a great price point. It’s having a 6.57″ FHD display with 1080×2400p resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It’s so typical at display design, as it features a punch-hole at the top right corner! Yet, it has 120Hz refresh rate and runs on iQoo’s custom UI over Android 10.

It has four storage variants as either 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4x RAM paired with 64GB or 128GB or 256GB onboard storage. The storage is of UFS 2.1 and has no expansion slots. The system works are processed by Snapdragon’s 765G, an octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 620 GPU. The maker says it has an 85 mm heat cooling pipe within and a graphite sheet for better cooling.

Moving onto camera section, it has a single 16-megapixel lens as front camera stuffed into the punch-hole design. And at the rear, it sports a triple module as 48-megapixel (f/1.79) as the primary sensor, 2-megapixel (f/2.4) as a macro lens and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) as a depth sensor.

Finally, it has a massive 5000mAh battery with 33W Vivo’s VOOC fast charging. It comes with all connectivities like 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.1 etc. The fingerprint sensor is side-mounted and supports facial recognition also.

iQoo Z1x Pricing and Availability


iQoo’s Z1x is available in Sea Azure, Sharp Cool Black, and Water White colors, and comes in four variants. The starting, 6GB + 64GB is priced at ¥1,598, the 6GB +128GB is priced at ¥1,798, the 8GB + 128GB variant is for ¥1,998 and the high-end 8GB + 256GB is for ¥2,298.

All these phones are up for sale in China starting today, and there’s no word on the global availability yet.
