Sony is all set to get back to the smartphone market with its all-new Xperia 1 II.

It’s been a long time since the smartphone giant is been out of the smartphone game. But now Sony is all set with it’s Xperia 1 II. The company boasts the device as ‘Built for speed’ and it sounds promising. The device is power-packed and all set to shake the market. The specs list goes on very long for the device.

Design-
The all-new Sony Xperia 1 II is having a glass back and a solid design on an aluminum frame. The phone looks very premium and gives a solid vibe as it is featured by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on back and front. The IP65/IP68 dust/water resistant makes it even more durable.
The device still supports its authentic 3.5mm headphone jack and it also ensures to deliver Sony standard sounds. The device comes in 3 colors (yet known), i.e. Black, White, and Purple.
Display:
The display is an 6.5″ OLED screen with around 16M colors. It’s a 4k HDR display to ensure a proper cinematic display. The aspect ratio of the device is 21:9 that provides a good gaming experience.
Performance:
The device is blazing fast. It is powered by a 7nm octa-core processor, Qualcomm SM8250( Qualcomm Snapdragon 865). The configuration of chipset goes like this: 1×2.84 GHz Kryo 585 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 585 & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 585. To ensure better graphics the company also implanted Adreno 650 GPU. The combination of these CPU+GPU will give a seamless experience when combined with the provided RAM of 8GB. The internal memory is a 256GB memory expandable up to 1TB.
The smartphone comes packed with a bunch of sensors like Fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, barometer, compass, color spectrum. The fingerprint reader is side-mounted. The phone supports 5G also to complete the current market needs.

Camera:
The camera is always an ace card for SONY. This time they raised the bar by implementing some more sophisticated Zeiss optics setup and a far better software optimization. The rear camera is a triple-camera setup. It is configured as 12-megapixel (f/1.7, 1/1.7-micron) + 12-megapixel (f/2.4, 1/3.4-micron) + 12-megapixel (f/2.2, 1/2.55-micron). It also supports phase detection autofocus. The company claims that the camera is inspired by its very own SONY Alpha camera technology.
The front camera is an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a pixel size of 1/4-micron. It a superb video recording capability of 1080p@30fps with 5-axis gyro-EIS.
Sony also claims the device to be the world’s first smartphone with up to 20fps AF/AE tracking burst.
Battery :
The Sony Xperia1 II is powered by a 4000mAh Li-Po battery. It supports fast charging. The company also enabled a wireless charging option for it. All this makes it a complete beast.

The device is well power-packed and sports absolutely amazing performance. The device was announced on February 24, 2020 and it can be a game-changer for the brand. The good chipset and Zeiss Optics collaboration can be a chance for SONY to get back on board again.
