At the time we were waiting for the Galaxy S20 series to go official in a couple of days, Shenzhen-based ZTE announced the first-ever phone to be powered by Qualcomm next-gen Snapdragon 865 chipset.
ZTE Axon 10S Pro is now officially the first Snapdragon 865-powered phone. The new device is somehow similar to the previous flagship of ZTE both in specs and design.
According to Androidcentral, Axon 10S Pro is also the first phone to use LPDDR5 RAM which is considered expensive and finds a few SoC to support it. Presently, Samsung’s Exynos 990 is the only SoC that supports LPDDR5 memory followed by the upcoming Snapdragon 865 SoC.
ZTE Axon 10S Pro comes with the same 6.47-inch AMOLED display with a water-drop notch having a 2340×1080 resolution, and aspect ratio of 19.5:9
The distinguishable differences between the new Axon 10S Pro and its predecessor Axon 10 Pro are the storage, memory and obviously the processor, while almost everything remains the same.

Axon 10S Pro will be a 5G-enabled device as the processor that it will feature, Snapdragon 865, is 5G ready. The phone will be available in two combinations – 12GB RAM paired with 256GB of UFS 3.0 flash storage and 6GB RAM paired with 128GB storage.
Both the version of Axon 10 lineup are packed with a large 4,000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4+ and both the device does not feature 3.5 mm audio port. The cameras also remain the same – 48-megapixel primary camera and a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
However, the new flagship will run on Android 10 with MiFavor 10 on top of it.
It is expected that Axon 10S Pro will launch in China at the price of CNY 3,200 (~$460). Although, it not official yet so this speculation should be taken with a pinch of salt.
