After tasting the massive success with its Redmi K20 and K20 pro, Xiaomi released Redmi K30 in China on December 10, 2019. This product from the sub-brand of Xiaomi is expected to be launch in January 2020 in the US.
Redmi K30 highest model comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage with the price tag of approx $314 and the cheapest variant comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage for the price tag of $229.
Packed with 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast charging, Redmi K30 has four rear cameras of 64 MP, 8MP, 2MP and 2MP, respectively. While there are 2 selfie camera of 20 MP and 2 MP, respectively. It also features a Sony IMX 686 sensor in main camera.
With 120Hz 6.67 inches IPS LCD display, Redmi K30 has the crispiest display amongst its peer in the same price range. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and accounts to 84.8% screen-to-body ratio. It has the resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~395 PPI density).
Based on Android 10, Redmi K30 runs on MIUI 11. This device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint reader, near the power button.
Redmi K30 has hybrid Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). Xiaomi will also release the 5G version of Redmi K30.
