Xiaomi India has come up with a set of new home gadgets and wearables, making itself more native to Indians. The Chinese OEM has announced a soap dispenser, smart bulb smartwatches, shoes and an Alexa-like speaker today, and most of them are set to go on sale next week, with slightly discounted prices on the occasion of the Indian festival.
Xiaomi India announced new smart gadgets
Starting with the smart speaker called Mi Speaker, the Alexa-like cylindrical gadget has a 12W output with a lightning line on the top rounded edges. Controlled via Google Assistant, Xiaomi said it can be paired with another similar speaker for stereo sound. It’s priced at Rs.3,499, which is fair if providing Amazon’s Alexa like experience.
Next up is a new one which we didn’t expect from Xiaomi already. The company announced Athleisure Shoes, which looks similar to Nike’s Roshe Run. Having a mesh fabric front and an oversized EVA sole, Xiaomi calls this as “the perfect workout companion” and priced at Rs.1,499.
Continuing its Mi Smart Band series, Xiaomi has launched the Mi Smart Band 5 with a 1.1″ OLED display, which is 20% larger than its predecessor. It is water-resistant upto 50 meters stays alive for two weeks on a single charge. It will go sale starting October 1st with a price tag of Rs.2,499.

Adding to this, Xiaomi has a new watch called Mi Watch Revolve, that looks similar to Amazfit GTR. And since the Amazfit is indirectly related to Xiaomi, the latter may have taken some of its software to run. Pictures of Mi Watch Revolve confirm the watch is not using the Wear OS, but something like Amazfit’s T-Rex.
This watch has a 1.39″ OLED display with 326 PPI and a week-long battery. It’s set to be sold in India in the festival season of October, with a discounted price tag of Rs.9,999. Later, it will go upto Rs.10,999.
The company has also got an Automatic Soap Dispenser for Rs.999, which can store up to 300ml of soap and automatically detects the hand to dispense soap in a quarter of a second. Finally, there’s Mi Smart LED bulb crafted with B22 fitting for suiting the Indian homes. It’s priced at Rs.499 and can be controlled via a voice assistant or Mi Home app.
