Vivo V20 Pro, the mid-range 5G handset launched earlier in September, is now releasing in India. This was confirmed by Vivo’s Indian CEO last month and is officially scheduled now for launching on November 2nd. It sports 33W fast charging, dual front cameras and a Snapdragon 765G 5G chipset. Vivo V20 Pro launching in India on December 2
Vivo V20 Pro’s launch in India was revealed by the company through a launch event invite sent to press. Mentioned as “Block Your Date”, the offical unveiling is scheduled on December 2nd, 2020. While Vivo India’s CEO, Jerome Chen has confirmed that model V20 Pro will launch in India, he didn’t provide any specific date.
And now, the company is already taking pre-registrations before the official launch. Talking about specifications, Vivo V20 Pro sports a 6.44″ FHD+ display with 1080 × 2400p resolution. With a 20:9 aspect ratio, it has an old-style notch for housing two selfie cameras. Running on Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 11, it has the Snapdragon 765G chipset within, that supports 5G and has Adreno 620 GPU.
It has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage without any expansion options. In imaging, it has a triple-rear camera setup led by a 64-megapixel (f/1.9) lens as the primary sensor, followed by an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) lens as an ultra-wide lens with 120° coverage and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) lens as a depth sensor. Upfront, there are two cameras as 44-megapixel (f/2.0) and an 8-megapixel (f/2.3) lens.
With an in-display fingerprint sensor, it has all the required connectivities and is powered by a 4000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. With Sunset Melody, Midnight Jazz and Moonlight Sonata as colour variants, it’s priced at THB 14,999 in Thailand when launched. This could be launched in India at around the same price as Rs.35,000.
