Vivo G1 5G Specifications
Starting with the display, Vivo G1 5G has a 6.44-inches FHD+ AMOLED with 1080×2400p resolution and HDR10. The screen has a dewdrop notch and supports in-display fingerprint sensor. The device runs on Vivo’s Funtouch OS 10 based on Android 10
It runs on Samsung’s Exynos 980 SoC, which is 5G enabled and supports both SA and NSA networking standards. Further, also supports network acceleration, 5G anti-flow interruption, and can pump download speeds up to 3.5Gbps.
Regarding cameras, it has a quad-camera setup in rear consisting a 48-megapixel as the primary sensor, an 8-megapixel as ultrawide angular, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel as a depth sensor. Upfront, there’s a single 32-megapixel housed in the display notch.
These cameras are so sophisticated that, both front and rear cameras are capable of recording 4K videos, has EIS and does the dual-field shooting. This means it can record a video with both its front and rear cameras simultaneously.
The Personal-Enterprise Spaces
A notable feature that makes this phone stand out from other general handsets, is the Enterprise purpose. Vivo G1 5G can be divided into two versions as Personal and Work spaces, whereas the Work space can be accessed by the user’s (employee’s) company.
The firm can directly install, update, and modify files that are hosted in the Workspaces, as it’s dedicated for that. On the other hand, Personal space is just like the regular usage. The phone makes it impossible to share any data between these two spaces, by wire or wireless.
Finally, it’s powered by a 4500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It has all connectivities like Bluetooth 5, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C port, audio jack, and NFC. After all, it’s more like Vivo’s S6 5G handset, which shares almost all the similarities except the dual workspace and NFC support.
It comes only in black color and has a single storage variant. But, as it comes in two different versions based, it’s priced accordingly. The standard edition (8GB + 128GB) comes for ¥3,498 (~$494), and there’s also a Police edition that comes for ¥4,498 (~$636). This special police edition is for cops who can be detected and directed by the command centre as needed.
