As per reports, there’s a new Samsung handset in the pipeline bearing the model number SM-G990B, which is touted to be the Galaxy S21 FE. There’s no much information about this device is available now, however, it’s expected to come with 5G support and Android 11 and share the same specifications of both Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+. Here’s more;

Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition

It’s has become a ritual for smartphone OEMs to launch a special edition of their premium handsets. As OnePlus did with Cyberpunk 2077 edition for its OnePlus 8 series, Samsung did it with the South Korean band, BTS last year for its Galaxy S20 series. Now, it’s most likely preparing for a similar special editioned handset for its S21 series.

While there’s no confirmation yet on this, reports from Sammobile reveal that a handset with a model number SM-G990B is in development. And if decoded through Samsung’s branding of model numbers from the past, we see this could be the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition (FE). Its predecessor, Galaxy S20 FE has a model number SM-G780F/SM-G781B.

While we hope that it could be the Fan Editioned Galaxy S21, we know nothing much about it. But, the same report hints that it comes in 128GB and 256GB storage capacities with no option to expand the storage and in gray/silver, pink, violet, and white color options. Also, it will have a 5G supported chip, of course.

More details on this handset will be coming in near future, as it prepares to launch in the next half of this year. Since the community is satisfied with all the three handsets’ in the S21 series, Samsung launching a fan edition shouldn’t be a surprise.
