Redmi 9i launched in India with MediaTek Helio G25 processor, 5,000mAh battery

Redmi 9i will go on sale in India starting September 18 through Flipkart and Mi.com

Xiaomi spin-off Redmi has launched Redmi 9i in India, adding the phone to the 9 series which already has Redmi 9, Redmi 9A, and the Redmi 9 Prime.

The Redmi 9i is the rebr anded of already launched Redmi 9A and the only difference between the two phone is more RAM and storage option in the latter.

Redmi 9i Specifications

The Redmi 9i features a 6.53″ HD+ display with a notch for the 5MP front camera. In the back, the phone has a 13MP primary camera accompanied by an LED flash.

Redmi 9i is powered by the octa-core MediaTek’s Helio G25 SoC and runs Android 10 with MIUI 12 on top. Under the hood, the Redmi 9i packs a massive 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging.

The phone comes with 64GB and 128GB storage options that can be expanded up to 512GB through microSD card. Besides, It also features VoWiFi, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS.

Redmi 9i Price and Availability

The Redmi 9i is available in Midnight Black, Sea Blue, and Nature Green color options. While the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 8,299 ($113), the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant comes at Rs. 9,299 ($126).

Redmi 9i will go on sale in India starting September 18 through Flipkart, Mi.com, and retail stores of Xiaomi in the country.
