Realme is on a roll, as it’s launching premium and mid-range smartphones more often than any other OEM these days. While launching regularly doesn’t make one a good brand, Realme is also keeping up with the hopes of its community as its launches are well received. Now, Realme India is bringing the Realme X7 5G and X7 Pro 5G next month.
Realme India announced dates for X7 and X7 Pro 5G launch
The Realme Indian wing’s CEO, Madhav Seth has announced the dates for unveiling Realme X7 and X7 Pro 5G handsets in the country, after launching them in China last year. These two handsets will be MediaTek’s Dimensity chips and are share most of the Realme V15 5G specifications.
If that’s the case, the supposed Realme X7 should have a 6.4″ AMOLED display with 1080 × 2400p resolution and a pinhole camera. With a 180Hz touch sampling rate, it comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Regarding cameras, it may have a triple rear setup led by a 64-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
This is contrary to the Chinese Realme X7, which has a quad-rear setup having an additional 2-megapixel lens. Upfront, it may have a 16-megapixel or 32-megapixel in the pinhole. And at last, it may have a 4310mAh battery with 50W fast charging, which is slightly below the 65W fast charging that Chinese X7 has.
It supposedly is having a Dimensity 800U SoC, that has Mali-G57 MC3 GPU and Android 10 + Realme UI OS. This makes it the first phone with a Dimensity 800U handset launching in India. Whereas the Pro variant of this may have a Dimensity 1000+ chip, a larger screen of 6.55″ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The rest of the specifications like that of connectivity, storage, and the battery would be the same for both the phones. In an image teaser released by Realme India’s CEO, it’s mentioned the date of launch for both these phones to be on February 4th, 2021.
