Realme 7 Pro Special Edition, Realme 7i, and Buds Air Pro launched in India


Realme has come up with a set of refreshed Realme 7 series in India, named as Realme 7i, Realme 7 Pro Special Edition. These were launched alongside two new True Wireless Earbuds called Buds Air Pro, and Buds Wireless Pro. All of the are fairly priced and set to go on sale in India soon. Here’s everything about them;

Realme 7i and Realme 7 Pro Special Edition

The all-new Realme 7i is a tweaked version of standard Realme 7, which resembles the handset launched in Indonesia earlier. This Indian version has a 6.5″ HD+ LCD with punch-hole design and a 90Hz refresh rate. With Snapdragon’s 662 SoC, it has. 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 onboard storage.

It comes with a quad rear camera setup as 64-megapixel as the primary sensor, followed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a pair of 2-megapixel lens for monochromic and macro shots. With a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and all required connectivities, it has a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and runs on Android 10 based Realme UI.

The launch of Realme 7i was teased earlier by several leaks, including the Indian Realme website which listed the handset before launch. It’s priced at Rs.11,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant and Ra.12,999 for the 4GB/128GB variant, going on sale via Flipkart starting October 16th. While this was made offical now, the company has also announced a new handset called the Realme 7 Pro Special Edition.

This Special Edition handset possesses the all the internals same the regular Realme 7 Pro but comes with a two-tone vegan micro-grain leather on the back panel. Named as the “Sun Kissed Leather”, it has a premium finishing to make the device look posh, and feels soft too. Instead of hard-pressing the logo on leather, Realme stuffed a metal plate at the bottom side. It’s priced at Rs.19,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant and Rs.21,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and goes on sale starting October 16th via Flipkart.

Besides these two, Realme has also launched a pair of TWS named Buds Air Pro and Realme Buds Air Pro. While the former comes with 94ms super-low latency gaming mode, Active Noise Cancellation of upto 35db and 20 hours of playback time, the latter comes with a dual-mic design for noise cancellation, Google fast pair support, 10mm bass boost drivers and IPX4 water resistance as notable features.
