With just a month away from the official launch, leaks about the OnePlus 9 series have revealed much of the lineup. While there is a number of leaks defining almost every aspect of the handsets’ in this series, we have collated most of them to put everything in one place. So here’s it;
All OnePlus 9 series leaks
OnePlus had a fantastic last year, with the Chinese OEM dipping its feet into new spaces like the TWS and mid-range segment with Nord series, besides launching the flagship OnePlus 8 series. Now, it’s planning to continue this pace this year with the launch of the OnePlus 9 series.
It’s already tipped that the upcom ing flagship series will have three handsets in it, namely the standard OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro,
and an OnePlus 9 Lite (or 9E). While we heard most about the regular and Pro variants, nothing much has been revealed about the Lite variant to date. Yet, here are they;Codenames and Model Numbers
Starting with the codenames, we’ve seen the upcoming flagship series to be named “lemonade” in many instances. For example, the Open Beta 3 of the OnePlus 8 series released last year has mentioned to this series in the Settings APK. Also, they’re varied with names like lemonade (OnePlus 9), lemonadet (T-Mobile OnePlus 9), lemonadev (Verizon OnePlus 9), lemonadep (OnePlus 9 Pro) and
lemonadept (T-Mobile OnePlus 9 Pro).

Regarding the model numbers, the OnePlus 9 has several model numbers mentioned like LE2110, LE2117, and LE2110 in various leaks. Also, the Pro variant is seen having LE2120 and LE2127 model numbers. There are no leaks on the Lite variant yet.
OnePlus 9
The initial design leaks about the OnePlus 9 series have revealed a lot. May these aren’t true, and could be changed in the final version, but talking about the prototypes is interesting too. The craze has gone up that, someone has put up an OnePlus 9 prototype for sale on eBay for $6,000. The very first leaks from November last year tell the standard variant having a flat display with a punch-hole design at the top left corner.
At the rear, it’s having a rectangular camera module placed vertically with three sensors (two big and one small) along with an LED flash. Also, the display is said to be sized at 6.55″ FHD+ on the OLED panel and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. After this, the next leak of live images has given us a better glimpse at these handsets.
This includes the layout of the usual buttons on either of the sides, USB Type-C at the bottom center along with a grilled speaker and a SIM tray. Up above, there’s a secondary mic for noise cancellation, and an unusual logo (since isn’t official) on the rear panel. It’s said to have the same display properties as the earlier leak.
OnePlus 9 Pro
Leaks about the Pro variant are plenty too, with the initial ones coming from last year’s November. The OnePlus 9 Pro is confirmed (in leaks, by various tipsters) to have a dual-edge curved display, a large 6.7″ QHD+ panel with a regular punch-hole display, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. The leaked live images of a grey finishing OnePlus 9 Pro shows the rear camera setup to be slightly bigger.
This includes the shifting of modules from right to the left side and having four sensors (two big and two small) instead of three sensors as in regular OnePlus 9. Also, there’s an LED flash along with HASSELBLAD branding on the module.
While these specifications vary as per handset, both of them are said to be possessing the Snapdragon 888 SoC, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support as common. And of course, they’ll be coming out with the latest Oxygen and Android OS. While both handsets’ are revealed much, there are no such leaks surfaced for the Lite variant.
