Nokia C3 launched with 5.99-inch display, 3040 mAh battery, Android 10

The Finnish based company, Nokia is yet again targeting the budget smartphone space to regain its lost charm. The HMD Global owned firm has now launched a new handset – Nokia C3 as a new entry-level smartphone with a typical chipset. Yet, it seems to good when weighed against the price. Let’s check into it;

Nokia C3 Specifications

This mediocre handset comes with a 5.99″ HD+ LCD with 720 × 1440p resolution and in 18:9 aspect ratio. It runs on stock Android 10 OS, thus no bloatware. It’s powered by a new Unisoc SC9863A SoC

, which is an octa-core processor clocking at 1.6GHz at maximum. It uses the Cortex cores, which are the same used by MediaTek for its Helio processors.

Unisoc is the rebranded name for Spreadtrum, which is an old company used to power affordable smartphones back in the day. It comes with an IMG8322 GPU, which is a fair one to play games under 30MB. Moving on, it has a 3GB RAM with 32GB eMMC 5.1 onboard storage and has a MicroSD slot for expanding storage up to 128GB.

It’s got a single rear camera as an 8-megapixel lens with f/2.0 aperture. Upfront, it has a 5-megapixel lens for selfies. While everything seemed average, it surprisingly features a fingerprint sensor, given at rear. And with 3040mAh battery with 5W charging support, it has the basic connectivities like Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, WiFi, MicroUSB 2.0 and an audio jack.
