After launching the grand Mi 11 earlier this week, Xiaomi is said to be working on a Pro variant of this covertly. This was tipped by a leaker, who previously has a solid history of successful tips. He said the Mi 11 Pro to have the same display specifications as the standard variant and may come after the Spring season in 2021.
Mi 11 Pro in works, to launch in February 2021
The latest leak comes from Digital Chat Station from Weibo, who previously have given several successful leaks regarding various gadgets. He had earlier said that Xiaomi will launch only one variant, a standard one, of Mi 11 before the Spring season which comes in mid-February every year.
As he said, Xiaomi has announced the Mi 11 this week. Now, he claims that a Pro variant of this handset is in works, and probably be launching after the Spring season of 2021. Also, he claimed that Mi 11 Pro will sport the same display specifications as its standard counterpart.
In this case, the Mi 11 has a 6.81″ QHD+ OLED display, with 120Hz screen refresh rate. Also, it has a punch-hole cut and is protected by the Gorilla Glass. On paper, it’s a solid print and is one of the finest in the industry now.
A request by an Android Authority to Xiaomi regarding this has a neutral response, with them saying have nothing share now. While we’re optimistic about the Pro variant, it may come with upgraded fast charging support and a telephoto lens at the rear.
