While everyone is thinking about Motorola’s extinction, the Lenovo subsidiary is gradually reviving itself in the tight smartphone market. Motorola has just launched two new average-premium phones – Motorola G Stylus and G Power, that are placed alongside Apple’s SE, Google’s Pixel 3A and, Redmi K30.
The all-new Moto G Stylus and Moto G Power are the two new addition into Motorola’s product line, leveling the maker’s game to the premium budgetary segment. Both these phones are seemed silky and bulky from outer, but here’s what they got inside.
The Grand Specifications
Both the Motorola G Stylus and G Power posses the same 6.4″ LCD display with punch-hole design and got 2300×1080p of resolution. The display also features splash resistant. Both devices have the plastic rear body and are covered with aluminum frames. They run on Snapdragon’s 665 CPU

Coming to memory and storage, the Motorola G Stylus has 4GB/128GB variant and the Moto G Power has 4GB/64GB variant. They both have a hybrid MicroSD slot for expanding the onboard storage if needed.
Both these handsets share common connectivities as Bluetooth 5, GPS, Wi-Fi, Audio jack and USB 2.0 Type-C. They have a fingerprint sensor mounted at rear for quicker unlocking.
Walking through the imaging section, the Moto G Stylus has a 48MP (f/1.7) primary lens, a 16MP (f/2.2) ultrawide angular, and a 2MP (f/2.2) macro lens. On the other hand, Moto G Power has a 16MP (f/1.7) primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultrawide lens and a 2MP (f/2.2) macro lens. These, powered with Snapdragon’s 665 SoC, could produce finer images at best. Upfront, both share the same 16MP (f/2.0) lens, that’s embedded in the punch-hole display.

Finally, the two distinction that make these phones stand apart from most of the premium budgetary handsets is the battery and support for stylus. The grand Moto G Stylus supports Stylus for easier drawing and working on items, but isn’t that effective as it’s seen catching palm moves too sometimes. But, it’s okay for light works.
Moto G Stylus is powered by a 4000mAh battery whereas Moto G Power is powered by a 5000mAh battery. Both support 10W battery charging and lasts for three complete days on fair usage. Quite impressive!
Pricing and Availability:
Motorola G Stylus and G Power share similar specifications in most parts, their price tags too vary by just $50. While the Moto G Stylus is priced at $299, its counterpart, Moto G Power is priced at $249.
They run on all carriers and receive software updates for one year, which isn’t that interesting. But the stock Android experience with fine cameras and display could take you for purchasing spree.
