After gaining enough traction from its Velvet series, LG is now back with a new offering – LG Q92. This new handset supports 5G, has centered pinhole display, fair battery, and typical rear camera placement. While it may seem fair in other developed markets, the new model may face tough competition from Chinese players in price to specifications ratio. Here’s everything about it;
LG Q92 5G Specifications
The new handset sports a 6.67″ FHD+ display with 1080 × 2400p resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. With almost 84% screen-to-body ratio, it has a pinhole display design, with the pinhole set at the top centre.
t runs on pure Android 10 OS and has a 6GB RAM with 128GB of ROM. Although, it has a MicroSD slot to add external storage.
Under the hood, it has the Snapdragon’s 765G SoC, which is an octa-core processor a Kyro 450 Prime core clocking ag 2.4GHz. Running on the 7nm process, it supports 5G connectivity and has Adreno 620 GPU.

With 32-megapixel (f/1.9) lens as front camera, it has quad rear setup as 48-megapixel (f/1.8) as primary sensor an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) lens as ultra-wide angular with 120° coverage, a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) macro lens and a 5-megapixel (f/2.4) depth sensor.
The rear cameras weirdly placed, with two cameras given at big circles an the rest two within small circles. With the side-mounted fingerprint sensor, it has a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support and has connectivities like Bluetooth 5, GPS, NFC, USB 2.0 Type-C, Wi-Fi and an audio jack.
LG Q92 5G Price and Availability
With Blue, Red, and White as color options, the LG Q92 is priced at KRW 4,00,000 (about $337) for the sole 6GB + 128GB variant and goes on sale officially from August 26th onwards. While it’s limited to the South Korean market, for now, it may be launched to other markets soon.
