Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor has launched two new handsets in China called as – Honor 30 Lite and Honor X10 Max. Both these handsets support 5G, has fair cameras and batteries. These are strategically placed at mid-range segment to take on strong contenders like Poco F1, Redmi K20 and Samsung’s Galaxy A70. Here’s what both these phones are capable of;
Honor 30 Lite
This handset sports a 6.5″ FHD+ display with 1080×2400p resolution. With 20:9 aspect ratio, it has a water-drop notch style display with 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on Magic UI 3.1 over Android 10 OS and has MediaTek’s Dimensity 800 SoC
. That’s an octa-core processor supporting 5G connectivity and has Mali-G57 MP4 GPU.In imaging, it has a triple rear setup as 48-megapixel (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8-megapixel (f/2.4) lens for ultra-wide angle shots with 120° FoV, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) lens for macro shots.
Upfront, there’s a single 16-megapixel lens housed in the notch with f/2.0 aperture. It has all required connectivities like GPS, USB Type-C, WiFi, 4G, NFC, Bluetooth, and audio jack.

Finally, it has a 4000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support, which claims to juice up to 53% in just 30 minutes.
Honor X10 Max
The next handset, Honor X10 Max has a massive 7.09″ FHD+ display with the same resolution and same OS. It boasts with 780 nits of peak brightness and has the same Dimensity 800 chip. It has dual rear cameras as 48-megapixel (f/1.8) lens as the primary sensor and an 8-megapixel macro lens.
Upfront, there’s an 8-megapixel lens. It has the same connectivities, but a bigger battery of 5000mAh with same 22.5W fast charging support.
Pricing and Availability
The Honor 30 Lite starts at ¥1,699 for the 6GB + 64GB storage variant, ¥1,899 and ¥2,199 for the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB storage variants. It will be available in Midnight Black, Phantom Silver, Summer Rainbow, and Wizard of Oz (green) color options. This handset is up for pre-bookings through Huawei official channels and Vmall.
On the other hand, the Honor X10 Max is available for ¥2,099 for the 6GB + 128GB variant and ¥2,499 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. It comes in Lightspeed Silver, Probing Black, and Racing Blue color options, and is up for pre-bookings via Vmall.
