After launching Pixel 4 earlier this month, Google is set to launch the successor of Pixel 4. During the launch of Pixel 4, Google had teased the Pixel 5 but did not reveal any specifications of the phone. However, the Pixel 5 is rumored to launch in the end of September.
While we are awaiting the launch of the next generation Pixel, a leak has surfaced online detailing some of the key specs of the device. All-time trustworthy leaker @OnLeaks
and PriceBaba has revealed that the upcoming Pixel phone will come packed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G, to feature 90Hz display, and will have ultra-wide camera.The authenticity of this leak is bending towards genuinity as it coincides with the report of CNET that has suggested that the device will have Snapdragon 765G SoC. The chipset in question supports 5G connectivity but is a step-down variant of Snapdragon 855, the chipset that Pixel 4 is packed with.

The leak further reveals that Pixel 5 will feature a flat display with a punch-hole camera at the top-left corner and will measure between 5.7 and 5.8-inches. The phone might be packed with a 3,080mAh battery, which, in comparison to Pixel 4’s 2,800 mAh cell, is slightly higher and considerably lower than the Pixel 4 XL’s 3,700 mAh battery pack.
According to Android Central, Pixel 5 will feature a 6-inches OLED display and will have dual rear camera setup – wide and ultrawide angle camera. The website further hints that the device will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone will support 15W Qi wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging, the same source further suggests.
Earlier, Pixel 5 was spotted on AI Benchmark that revealed the device to be using Snapdragon 765G, having 8GB RAM and running on upcoming Android 11.
Coming down to pricing, @ImJustSayinJC suggests that the Pixel 5 will likely come in a single XL variant. This sole variant will be priced at $699.
