The Taiwanese tech giant, Asus has today unveiled the Zenfone 7 series globally after launching them in their home nation last week. This series 7, which contains two handsets as Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro is only differed by the minor changes balances perfectly on paper regarding their price to specifications ratio. Here’s everything about them;
Asus Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro Specifications
It comes with a 6.67″ display with 20:9 aspect ratio and HDR10+ support. With 90Hz screen refresh rate, it’s protected by Gorilla Glass 6 and has 700 nits of peak brightness! Running on ZenUI 7 over Android 10, it has Snapdragon’s 865 SoC
The 7nm+ processor clocks at 2.84GHz as maximum speed and comes with Adreno 650 GPU. With 128GB of UFS 3.1 on-board storage, it comes with either 6GB or 8GB RAM variants. It has a flip camera module that houses three lens as, a 64-megapixel (f/1.8) as the primary sensor, followed by an 8-megapixel (f/2.4) as a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 12-megapixel (f/2.2) as an ultra-wide lens with 113° coverage.
These cameras act as the front cameras too since it’s a flip setup, thus great. They’re capable of recording 8K videos at 30fps, 4K at 30fps and can stabilize with gyro-EIS. There’s a dual flash coming with this motorized camera. With a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, it has a 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
While there’s no audio jack in here, it comes with NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS and a Type-C USB 1.0 connector. It’s available in Pastel White and Aurora Black colour variants.
On the other hand, the Asus Zenfone 7 Pro has all the features same as its standard counterpart, but with an upgraded chipset. It runs on Snapdragon’s 865+ SoC, which has the maximum clocking speed at 3.1GHz, a slight upgrade from the regular Snapdragon 865 SoC.
Asus Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro Price and Availability
The standard Zenfone 7 handset comes with a price tag of €699 (~833) for the 8GB + 128GB variant, whereas the Zenfone 7 Pro with 8GB + 256GB comes for €799 (~953). The other variant of regular Zenfone 7 is priced at TWD 21,990 (~$749) for the 6GB + 128GB variant, but not available globally.
