Xiaomi Mi 10T

Chinese smartphone major Xiaomi has launched the next generation of its premium smartphone, Mi 10. Named as Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro. These two smartphones have launched in India after launching globally in September.

Both the Mi 10T and the Mi 10T are nearly identical in every aspects, only the differentiator is their rear cameras. The Xiaomi Mi 10T features a 64MP primary camera, whereas the Mi 10T Pro sports a 108MP camera. Nevertheless, both of the smartphones have the same 13MP ultra-wide-angle and the 5MP macro cameras in rear and the 20MP hole-punch camera on the front.

Mi 10T Specifications

The Mi 10T features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display with resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio that boasts a 144Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, paired with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It has the dual-SIM (Nano) SIM setup and runs on MIUI 12, based on Android 10.

The phone has a triple rear camera setup that contains a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel sensor with a macro lens. For selfie shooting, there is a 20-megapixel selfie camera sensor placed in the hole-punch cut out.

The Mi 10T packs a massive 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The device comes with 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Mi 10T Pro specifications

The Pro variant of Mi 10T share the same display specifications with the Mi 10T. The phone is also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Mi 10T pro runs on MIUI 12, based on Android 10.

The major difference between the Mi 10T and 10T Pro is the rear camera setup. While Mi 10T has a 64-megapixel primary sensor, the Mi 10T Pro has a 108-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). However, Mi 10T Pro also has a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel sensor with a macro lens in the same triple camera setup. Upfront, there is a same 20-megapixel camera sensor.

The Pro model comes with a single variant of 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage option. The Mi 10T Pro packs the same 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro Price and Availability

The Mi 10T is available in two variants. The 6GB + 128GB which is priced at Rs. 35,999 (~$490) and the 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 37,999 (~$520). It is available in Cosmic Black and Lunar Silver color options.

The Mi 10T Pro is only available in a single 8GB + 128GB variant and comes at a price of Rs. 39,999 (~$545) and is available in Aurora Blue, Cosmic Black, and Lunar Silver colors.

Both the smartphones will be available on Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home and Mi Studio stores and will be open for pre-order starting October 15.
