Samsung is having the time of its life in the smartphone business. The South Korean OEM has a strong fanbase in all the key segments and is launching phones regularly with competitive specifications to remain the market leader. In that pursuit, it’s gearing to unveil a new handset named Galaxy F62 in India next week.

Scheduled on February 15th, at 12 AM IST (2 AM ET), this new smartphone was listed in the local online marketplace Flipkart. Though Samsung hasn’t shared anything about the handset yet, the listing revealed the design and few key details of it. This includes the chipset Exynos 9825, the same one powering Galaxy Note 10 series.

This can show significant performance bumps over the Exynos 9611 used in Galaxy F41. Regarding the design, the upcoming Galaxy F62 will have a quad-rear camera set-up aligned in a square shape, with an LED flash at the bottom. It will have a punch-hole display design at the front, set at the top center.

Other than these, no other specifications are known about the Galaxy F62. But considering leaks, it may have a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 6.7″ AMOLED display, 6GB of RAM, and a massive 7,000mAh battery capacity. There are no hints on the price too, but may be placed in the upper mid-range segment.

This adds up value to Samsung’s mid-range segment, which is the highly competitive one in the smartphone space. Also, since listed in Flipkart, the Galaxy F42 will initially be launched in India and may be taken to other markets by renaming and tweaking slightly.
