Xiaomi has finally expanded the Mi Note 10 series by adding Mi Note 10 Lite into the lineup. The company had announced the device on April 30. Mi Note 10 Lite is aimed at users who are more concerned about battery life rather than photography.
The massive 5,260 mAh battery that the phone has been packed with has the standby time of staggering 23 days, Xiaomi claims. The phone also supports 30W Fast Charging and reverse charging as well.
As the name suggests, this ‘Lite’ variant of Mi Note 10 series has some low-specs as compared to other phones in Mi Note 10 lineups. This time, Xiaomi has ditch 108-megapixel penta-camera setup which was seen in Mi Note 10 series.

Xiaomi is yet to launch the new Mi Note 10 series globally due to the ongoing pandemic and lockdowns around the world. The company has been postponing the launch since February.
We hardly know much about the bigger Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro’s launch globally yet. But, here we’ve got detailed specifications and features for the Mi Note 10 Lite.
Display
As like other Mi Note 10 phones, even Mi Note 10 Lite features with a huge 6.47-inches 3D curved AMOLED display with ~87.8% screen-to-body ratio. The display has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 working at ~398 ppi.
Besides, the screen also supports HDR10 for an immersive multimedia experience The display is also protected with Gorilla Glass 5. Mi Note 10 Lite has a peak brightness of 430 nits as compare to 600 nits in other phones in Mi Note 10 lineups.
It also has a fingergrip sensor housed under the display for enhanced security.
Processor
Mi Note 10 Lite will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor which is quite a mid-range processor found on phones like Realme X2 and Poco X2.
The configuration of the octa-core CPU goes as – 2 Kryo 470 Gold @ 2.2 GHz & 6 Kryo 470 Silver @ 1.8 GHz. The device comes with the 5G support onboard and has Adreno 618 GPU which clock up to 700 MHz for improved graphic performance.
RAM and Storage
Mi Note 10 Lite comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage onboard. The phone is available in two variants – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. There is no card slot to expand the storage.

Mi Note 10 Lite – Features
First and foremost, bravo to Xiaomi for living up a room for retaining the 3.5mm Headphone Jack on Mi Note 10 Lite.
Also, some other features like IR Blaster, NFC support, Vlog mode, in-display fingerprint scanner are available in Mi Note 10 onboard.
Camera
On the back, you will get to see a quad-camera setup, where you will get the latest 64-megapixel Sony IMX 686 sensor of f/1.89 aperture as the main shooter which is capable of shooting videos of 4K @ 30fps, 1080p at 60fps/30 fps and 720p @ 30fps.
Then, you will get an 8-megapixel Ultra-wide camera sensor with the aperture of f/2.2 that comes with a FOV of 120 degrees and then a 5-megapixel Depth sensor with the aperture of f/2.4 and at last 2-megapixel with the aperture of f/2.4 macro sensor for macro shots.
On the front, you will get a regular 16-megapixel Selfie shooter which supports Full HD video recording @ 30fps and is housed on a U-shaped notch on top of the display.
The device’s main camera is also capable of slow-motion video recording of 720p @ 20 fps/240fps/960fps.
Battery and Charging
As Mi Note 10 Lite is enabled with 5G support which sucks up the battery in a worse way. So, Mi Note 10 Lite comes with a huge 5260 mAh battery to compensate the high usage.
Also, this huge battery gets the support of 30W fast charging as well.
Software and UI
Currently, Mi Note 10 Lite will be coming MIUI 11 skin on top of Android 10. But, the phone will be getting an update for new MIUI 12 as well.

Mi Note 10 Lite will be available in three colors which are:
- Nebula Purple
- Glacier White
- Midnight Black
Mi Note 10 Lite Price
Currently, only the Euro pricing has been revealed. The base variant 6GB + 64GB variant is priced for €349 (~$377). The mid-variant 6GB + 128GB variant is priced for €399 (~$431).
At last, the top-end variant 8GB + 128GB’s pricing hasn’t yet been revealed.
