Realme X50Pro


Just like the brand says “Speed of the Future”, Realme announced its first 5G smartphone. After the launch of Realme C3, on February 7, Madhav Seth, CEO of Realme India, for the first time teased the device, as the brand debuts to MWC (Mobile World Congress). In his tweets, the background image directly reflected 5G initials. Earlier today the brand officially introduced India’s First 5G smartphone Realme X50Pro 5G.

Overview:

The device is claimed to be the first 5G device in India. The phone is power-packed with awesome features. The smartphone is appreciated worldwide. The twitter is flooded with constructive comments on the phone.

Specifications

Design:

The device gives a solid vibe. The all-new Realme X50Pro 5G features a full matte finish body. There is one speaker grill, one microphone segment, a sim-tray, and a USB Type-C port at the bottom panel. The left and right sides have volume rockers and power on-off button. On an overall basis, the company focused on small details like applying a golden textured touch to the power button that amplifies the beauty and premium feel of the device. The device comes in two colors Moss Green and Rust Red.

SoC, Memory, and Connectivity:

The device is a cutting edge speedster. It sports a 7nm flagship-grade Snapdragon 865 5G processor clocked at a speed of 2.84GHz with an amazing configuration consisting of 2.4 GHz, Single core, Kryo 475 + 2.2 GHz, Single core, Kryo 475 + 1.8 GHz, Hexa Core, Kryo 475. The processor is popularly called Snapdragon 865 with an A77 based core. The amazing GPU Adreno 650 is making it a performance beast.

The brand also focused a lot on implementing an LPDDR5 RAM with the memory of 6GB/8GB/12GB. The internal storage is also a big game changer with the usage of UFS3.0. The internal memory goes up to 128GB/256GB.

The phone also supports some amazing templates like 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi-6. The phone consists of a total of 13 antennas for connectivity. The device also contains all basic sensors.

Display :

The display unit is quite good with the enactment of a 6.44″ Super AMOLED Display. It features a 90Hz display for a seamless experience. The device is also certified as HDR10+ which is a cherry on the cake for display. The smartphone’s resolution revolves around 2400×1080 FHD+ and a 92% screen to body ratio.

Camera unit:

The camera unit includes a quad-camera setup on the rear and a twin camera setup on the front. The rear camera comes with the configuration of 64MP Ultra high-resolution wide-angle camera as the primary camera with a 12MP Telephoto Lens capable of 20X Zoom and other two cameras of 8MP each one for Macro and one for Black and White Portrait.

The front segment comes with a 32MP Sony IMAX616Sensor and an 8MP secondary camera for Ultra Wide shots. The camera sounds very promising.

Battery and Charging:

The battery is also not a compromised factor in the phone. The Realme X50Pro 5G is powered by a 4200mAh battery capable of fast charging. The content in the box includes a 65W fast charger capable to charge the device 0-100% in just 35mins.

Price:

The Realme X50 Pro 5G is priced at Rs 37,999 ($527) for the base variant having 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, Rs 39,999 ($555) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, and the higher-end variant is available in Rs 44,999 ($624) which features 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage.

Overall Impressions:

The phone is for sure a flagship killer with an aggressive price tag. The device is undoubtedly a flagship killer with its first-in-class 5G connectivity.
